In-Office Open MRI
At Brandon Orthopedic Associates, we are pleased to offer an on-site open MRI for the convenience of our patients. We perform scans on most injured and painful body parts within a day or two of studies being ordered by your physician. Every MRI preformed at Brandon Orthopedic Associates is available on our in-office system for immediate reviews by your orthopedist. Every scan is read by an outside radiologist as well. We are able to perform MRIs under most insurance plans.

X-Rays
Our office is equipped with modern, x-ray facilities and staffed by a licensed x-ray technician. Before your x-rays are taken, please inform the technician if there is any chance you may be pregnant. Any x-rays taken at our office are a part of your medical record and the property of Brandon Orthopedic Associates. We will provide copies of your films for an appropriate fee.

Medical Supplies
For your convenience, DJ Ortho, a separate company, provides many orthopedic medical supplies (such as splints, braces, Ace wraps, and crutches) to our patients in the office. Please note that Medicare and some health plans do not cover the cost of some supplies, and payment for these items is therefore required when they are received. Sometimes we must refer you to a preferred provider in order for your insurance plan to cover the cost of the supplies.
